Let Us Carry the Tune

Keylium’s balloon decor can paint your event with color; our musician can paint it with song! A classically trained pianist with more than 30 years’ experience and an exceptionally broad vocal range, he can build a set list for your event around anything from solo-piano folk to ’80s blue-eyed soul to alternative hits of the ’90s and ’00s and beyond!

Our unique sound combines a range of MIDI technologies and a vocal harmonizer to create a duet or trio effect with only a solo musician. Check out some samples in the playlist below, all captured from live performances!

Keylium Musician FAQ

What types of events do you perform at?

You name it: corporate events, private parties, holiday gatherings, showers, and live music for eateries, coffeehouses, and festivals.

We strive to fit our music to the theme and mood of your event. Let’s discuss how to tailor our song lists to your needs!

We love a challenge! Happy to include specific song(s) that are meaningful to you or especially well-suited to your event. For special requests, please plan to provide information well in advance to ensure we have sufficient time to prepare and make it sound its best on your big day.

On-the-spot requests are always welcome but results are not guaranteed! 😆

We can adjust to meet your event’s scheduling needs. Full-length performances can be 1-3 hours, built around standard sets of 45 minutes with 10- to 15-minute breaks.

For performances longer than 2 hours, we typically recommend mixing in some solo piano to reduce vocal strain.

Sooner is always better, of course, and during the busy summer season our schedules get crowded! Ideally 2-4 weeks’ notice is sufficient, though we always try to accommodate last-minute inquiries where possible too.

We travel with a full set of equipment, including keyboard and vocals equipment, stands, and a small amplifier that’s suitable for small- and medium-sized event spaces. If your event is in a very large venue, we can work in advance to secure an appropriate P.A. for the space.

We can also accommodate the use of equipment already in the space if, for example, your space has a grand piano. Note of course that this will change our sound somewhat and restrict our use of vocal harmonizers.

Stages are great, but we can set up in any flat, dry, and secure location with an available power outlet.

Please let us know if your event space has unique setup requirements.

Not at present; the complexities of rehearsal schedules make a full band more challenging for us. If that changes in the future, we’ll share information here!
